These Terms of Use outline your responsibilities when using the SHOWDOWNFSC website. You may also review our Privacy Policy for additional details on how we handle your information.

These Terms govern the relationship between IDEOMATHICS TECHNOLOGIES LTD, operators of SHOWDOWNFSC, a company registered in Nigeria with RC number: 7047624, located at 38 CIPM Avenue, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria(hereinafter referred to as "SHOWDOWNFSC"), and you, the user of this website (the "Site"). SHOWDOWNFSC manages the website www.showdownfsc.com and all associated pages, including any mobile applications or related services (the "Services").

By accessing or using the Site and its Services, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms of Use and the SHOWDOWNFSC Privacy Policy, as well as all applicable laws and regulations governing the Site.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Site or its Services.SHOWDOWNFSC reserves the right to modify, update, or replace these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy at its sole discretion. Any changes will take effect immediately upon being posted on the Site. Users are encouraged to review these Terms regularly, especially when signing up or when updates are made. Continued use of the Site following such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to any modifications, you must discontinue use of the Services and close your account. In such cases, the prior Terms of Use shall govern your relationship with SHOWDOWNFSC.

You are advised to print a copy of these Terms for reference. SHOWDOWNFSC reserves the right to take appropriate action, including suspending or terminating your account, restricting access to the Site, or pursuing legal action if you violate these Terms.

Eligibility

To register, open an account, or participate in SHOWDOWNFSC events (the "Contests") on the Site, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years oldand meet the minimum age requirement in your jurisdiction to use the Site and participate in events.
  • You reside and are physically located in the location provided in your account registration.
  • You are a citizen or legal resident of the jurisdiction indicated in your registration
  • You are in a jurisdiction that does not prohibit participation in SHOWDOWNFSC events, whether as a team sponsor or an athlete.
  • You are in good physical health, with no underlying medical conditions that could pose a risk to yourself or others while participating in SHOWDOWNFSC events.
  • You will comply with these Terms of Use and any other agreements with SHOWDOWNFSC regarding your use of the Site.
  • You will not use credit cards for transactions on the Site, including through e-wallets or online payment services

If you fail to meet these eligibility requirements, you are not authorized to use the Site or its Services. SHOWDOWNFSC reserves the right to suspend or terminate the account of any user who does not meet these conditions. Additionally, any prizes, winnings, or privileges associated with such accounts may be withheld, revoked, or canceled.
SHOWDOWNFSC may require proof of your eligibility before awarding any prizes, in accordance with its verification policies and Anti-Money Laundering/Terrorist Financing regulations.

Account Limitations

  • You may maintain only one active account for participation. If multiple accounts are detected, SHOWDOWNFSC reserves the right to suspend or terminate them and revoke associated winnings.
  • SHOWDOWNFSC employees may access the Site for testing purposes but cannot withdraw funds or prizes.
  • SHOWDOWNFSC sponsors may participate in Contests by enrolling a team and may receive prizes under applicable rules but shall not receive any additional benefits.
  • Professional athletes may be restricted from participating in certain events as specified by the event rules.
  • You acknowledge that team enrollment fees for participation in events may be non-refundable, and SHOWDOWNFSC may suspend or terminate Services based on team performance.

Registration and Verification

To participate in any event on the Site, you must register and create an account with SHOWDOWNFSC. Your account must be verified before you can take part in SHOWDOWNFSC events. As part of the verification process, you may be required to provide one or more of the following documents (or any other necessary documentation) to confirm your eligibility:

  • Proof of Identity: A valid government-issued photo ID (passport, driver's license, or national ID card) displaying your name, photograph, and signature.
  • Proof of Address: A recent utility bill showing the address associated with your account.

You agree to keep your account information up to date and to provide any additional details requested by SHOWDOWNFSC to manage your account and ensure compliance with the platform’s policies. Your personal information will be handled in accordance with the SHOWDOWNFSC Privacy Policy. If your account details are inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete, or if SHOWDOWNFSC has reasonable grounds to believe so, access to certain areas of the Site may be restricted or denied. SHOWDOWNFSC also reserves the right, at its discretion, to decline account registration.

Account Security & Password Protection

When registering, you must provide a valid email address and create a Username and Password for your account. Certain sections of the Site (the "Restricted Areas") require registration for access.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Username, Password, and account information, as well as securing your personal devices. While SHOWDOWNFSC implements security measures, you acknowledge that no online system is 100% secure, and SHOWDOWNFSC is not liable for hacking, data breaches, or unauthorized access to your account.

By using the Site, you agree that:

  • You will not share your password with anyone.
  • You are fully responsible for any activities occurring under your account, regardless of authorization.
  • You will immediately notify SHOWDOWNFSC of any unauthorized use of your account or security breach.
  • SHOWDOWNFSC may restrict access or block transactions if it detects unauthorized use or violations of the Terms of Use.

SHOWDOWNFSC will never ask for your password via email or any unsolicited contact. Any misuse or illegal activity linked to your account will result in account suspension and possible legal action. You agree to indemnify SHOWDOWNFSC against any damages or liabilities arising from unauthorized or improper use of your account.

Communications and Disclosure

By registering on SHOWDOWNFSC, you acknowledge and agree to receive commercial communications related to content on the Site. These communications are an integral part of your registration. However, you may opt out of receiving marketing communications for commercial goods or services at any time by using the unsubscribe option or submitting an opt-out request to [support@showdownfsc.com], in line with our Privacy Policy. Despite opting out of marketing messages, you will continue to receive essential account-related communications regarding account details, prize fulfillment, and other operational matters.

Additionally, SHOWDOWNFSC and its partners may contact you about services or offers that may interest you. Should you prefer not to receive such promotional messages, please notify our customer service team at [support@showdownfsc.com]. Please note that any phone calls made to us may be recorded for training and security purposes. Any approved customer data will be securely delivered to partners in a mutually agreed format.

Disqualification

SHOWDOWNFSC reserves the right to disqualify any participant who engages in misconduct that is deemed unfair, improper, or detrimental to other participants and the integrity of the Site. Such violations include but are not limited to:

  • Providing false personal information.
  • Tampering with the Site’s operations or software.
  • Spamming or misusing other entrants' information.
  • Violating any terms outlined in this agreement.

Any forfeited or returned prizes due to misconduct will not prevent SHOWDOWNFSC from pursuing legal action, including civil or criminal proceedings. The Site and its services are strictly for participation in SHOWDOWNFSC-administered events.

Force Majeure

SHOWDOWNFSC shall not be held liable for any failure to fulfill obligations under these Terms of Use due to events beyond its control. This includes, but is not limited to, natural disasters, war, fire, riots, terrorism, government actions, and other unforeseen circumstances.

Game Rules

Event rules will be communicated via the official SHOWDOWNFSC website.

Creating and Managing a Team

To participate in SHOWDOWNFSC events, sponsors must select a team from the pool of available athletes listed on the Site. Athletes can accept or decline a sponsor's offer. Once a team is created, sponsors must enroll the team for an event within 48 hours to confirm participation.

Event Entry Fees

Each event has a fixed entry fee. Sponsors interested in participating must follow the payment process outlined on the website. Upon payment, participants will be directed to relevant event links and instructions.

Entry Cancellation

SHOWDOWNFSC reserves the right to cancel any event entry if the required number of participants is not met at the scheduled start time. Additionally, events may be canceled due to technical issues, incorrect prize structures, or administrative errors. In such cases, all entry fees will be fully refunded. Once an entry is confirmed, participants cannot cancel their submissions.

Contest Term

SHOWDOWNFSC hosts events featuring multiple athletes competing in real-life sporting competitions (“event”). The duration of each event varies and is outlined in the respective event rules. Winners are determined based on the criteria specified in each contest.
SHOWDOWNFSC will provide the event venue, first aid services, technical officials, and event logistical. However, it will not be responsible for team uniforms, welfare, or medical treatments beyond those available at the venue.
Participating teams and sponsors are expected to cover the costs of uniforms, general welfare, and any additional medical expenses beyond basic first aid
